Violence on the Net, Kabonfootprint Probe
Violence on the net is really that visible that not only adults can view it. So Mr. Kabon Footprint investigate about this matter on how the internet protect the children from exposing to this kind of violence videos. Nowadays children were so exposed to different kind of violence in different form from TV, video games and specially internet websites. This is not good for the mental health of this children and people should do something about this. I have found this article from UNESCO on the net about how they deal with this kind of introduction of violence to children via media. Here I quote some of the lines of the said article which can be found at http://www.peace.ca/sheet15.htm:
The UNESCO study is a major contribution to the growing body of evidence that violence in the media does have a harmful impact on children, recognizing that this effect can vary by gender and by the kind of surroundings in which children are living. Many countries of the world have taken steps to introduce regulations, or to pressure the media to adopt forms of self-regulation, to curb the level and amount of violence to which children are exposed on television. The United States has made it mandatory that V-chips be included in all new television sets sold in the country. These allow parents to program their television sets to screen out broadcasts rated above a certain level for violent or erotic material.
Kabonfootprint believes that the parents and the school has the major role in preventing this kind of problem on violence. Parents should guide their children on what kind of show that they should watch. Despite their busy schedules, parents should give time to monitor their children regarding children’s view on violence. School should have a certain part on their classes explaining the problems cause by violence.

The government and the people should do something about this things. Government should have a strict rules about this while people should know what to show to children.
